All rooms except the Standard room are air-conditioned. The Standard room is fitted with a ceiling fan and is ideal for budget-conscious travellers.

The Family AC Cottage, 4-Bedded AC Room, and Deluxe Quadruple AC Rooms are best suited for families and groups, with the 4-Bedded AC Room and Deluxe Quadruple AC accommodating up to 6 guests across 2 king size beds.

Do the rooms offer forest or garden views?

Yes, every room at Khairi Resorts offers unrestricted views of the surrounding greenery, with the Semi Deluxe AC Rooms additionally opening onto a shared balcony overlooking the garden and forest canopy.

What is the cancellation policy?

1. Fully Flexible :Guests can cancel anytime up to 21 days before check-in & receive a 100% Khairi Stay Credit Voucher/ Refund in your account (5% transfer charges will be deducted)
2. Flexible: Guests can cancel anytime up to 14 days before check-in & receive a 100% Khairi Stay Credit Voucher(valid for next 6 months, subject to availability)
3. Partially Flexible : Guests can cancel anytime up to 7 days before check-in & receive a partial refund of up to 40%.
4. Non-Refundable – During special offers and promotions, and cancellation receive within 7 days before check-in comes with no refunds.
5. No show– Guests who fail to arrive without cancelling will be charged the full amount of the advance.
6. Special Circumstances - We recognize emergencies and unforeseen events can happen. In such cases, please contact our reservations team directly. We'll change your booking dates as per your suitability unto 1 year.

What are the check-in & check-out timings at Khairi Resorts?

Standard check-in time is after 11 AM, and check-out time is by 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for free (subject to availability).

What types of safaris does Similipal Khairi Resort offer?

We offer 2 primary safari experiences: the Open Jimny Safari (4 hours, core zone only) and the Full Day Safari (entire day, extensive zone coverage including waterfalls).

What is included in the Open Jimny Safari price?

The price includes the open 6-seater Jimny vehicle, entry permit for up to 6 pax, mandatory guide fees, commission, and GST. It covers a 4-hour duration with slots in the morning (5:30 AM to 10:30 AM) or evening (2:30 PM to 6:30 PM).

Does the Open Jimny Safari price include hotel transfers?

No, guests must reach the designated forest entry point on their own. Transfers from the resort to the entry point can be arranged at an additional cost.

What is included in the Full Day Safari package?

The resort charges separately for the entry permit (per-head basis) and the vehicle (your own or ours). Personal vehicle ground clearance should be above 180mm, sedan & hatchbacks are strictly prohibited.

Is a guide mandatory for the Full Day Safari?

Yes, guide is mandatory by Forest Department, the guide fee is typically paid directly at the entry point.

How do I book a safari?

Safaris can be booked directly through Similipal Khairi Resort. We handle the coordination for permits. Advance booking is highly recommended due to daily vehicle limits in the park.

Who handles the entry permit process & What documents are required for entry?

For resort-booked safaris, we assist in securing the necessary entry permits. For self-drive guests, permits can be obtained by the team of Khairi Resort. All guests must carry original valid Photo ID (Aadhar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) & the booking receipt.

Are camera fees included in the safari price?

Specific professional camera/video fees (if applicable) may need to be paid separately at the gate as per forest rules.

Can we carry food inside the park?

For the Full Day Safari, food is available inside the forest. Guests may also carry dry snacks and water. Cooking food, picnics, or lighting fires inside the park are strictly prohibited.
